Job description

Your Tasks

  • Daily coordination of shop floor quality activities to ensure Brose and its customers are protected. Disciplinary leadership of Quality Auditors and the Salvage Team, focusing on their career and skill development.
  • Escalation support for Quality Auditors and Leadership during internal and customer issues.
  • Responsible for shop floor quality KPI's for the plant (e.g. Scrap, RT, Rework Rate etc...). Owner of the plant scrap, salvage and rework processes.
  • Lead, mentor and support Quality Auditors and Salvage Operators with quality issues and problem solving
  • Define and monitor a clear concept for shopfloor audits, enforcing dicipline, Brose basic rules and correct PFM
  • Responsible for (improving) scrap reporting tools and ensuring correct 551/552 transactions
  • Lead scrap reduction projects in coordination with the PQC
  • Owner of the Procella software for the plant
  • Lead the improvement of the NBO rework and salvage concepts (incl. rework station concepts)
  • Own the hold and sort areas and all areas where NOK material is stored, ensuring correct material flow and labeling
  • Own the career development process for Quality Auditors and Salvage, defining a clear path from junior QA to QE
  • Create training and development plans for the quality team, aiming to close skill gaps and ensure successors are defined
  • Lead the continuous improvement of our daily shop floor quality and salvage processes
  • Plan budgets and track costs of your team to ensure cost efficieny at all times
  • Initiation and follow-up on sorting activities and containment concerning parts that do not meet specification
Your Profile
  • At least 3 years' professional experience in the area of quality, ideally at least 1-3 years in a position in the automotive industry as a quality specialist
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures for planning and optimizing quality processe
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and supporting Quality Auditors, Salvage Operators, or shop floor quality teams
  • Experience with shop floor audits, scrap reporting, rework, salvage, containment, and material flow
  • Experience with quality KPI's such as Scrap, RT, Rework Rate, and related plant quality metrics
  • Ability to support internal and customer issues through escalation, problem solving, and follow-up
