Job description

FOX 59 and CBS 4 are currently in search of a Strategic Account Manager. This position will play an integral role with the Sales Team and focus primarily on Digital Sales, Digital Media Strategy and Digital Execution.
FOX59 and CBS 4 News is owned by Nexstar Media - the country's largest holder of TV stations and represents best-in-class digital products. These include but are not limited to:
  • FOX59News.com; OTT & Streaming Platforms; Display; Pre-Roll; SEM; Retargeting; Social Media Marketing; YouTube; various other 3rd party digital products

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with Sales Management and Account Executives to generate digital revenue
  • Develop media strategies for growth based on advertiser goals
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to deliver actionable insights & recommendations
  • Evaluate KPIs and optimize campaign performance
  • Digital order entry & updates
  • Liaises between sales & production teams for developing marketing creative for clients, such as display banners, videos, emails, and other marketing material
  • Assist sales executives with all aspects of the digital sales process including, but not limited to: Training, Order Entry, Campaign Monitoring and Coordination, Creative Requests, Creative Trafficking, Reporting, & Analytics
  • Assist management with aspects of the digital sales operation including, but not limited to: Training, Digital Sales Materials, Campaign pacing, Campaign Coordination, Campaign Performance Metrics, Communication with both internal and external teams
  • Assists with station contesting and sweepstakes
  • Other duties as assigned

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferred
  • Foundational knowledge of various digital marketing strategies including SEM, SEO, Social, Display, Video, OTT, Mobile and Addressable Solutions, Email and Digital Audio IS A MUST.
  • Experience in digital marketing coordination or media sales preferred
  • Significant knowledge of the local digital marketing services product offering and effective use for clients
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively collaborating in a team environment
  • Excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Able to multi-task and handle several projects at a time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Design software ability a plus.
  • Experience with Wide Orbit, Monarch, ComScore, Nielsen are a plus.
  • IAB and/or Google AdWords Certification a plus.
  • Automotive & database digital marketing experience is also a plus.
  • Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
  • Fluency in English; with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
