CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Are you a proactive self-starter with a passion for sales and a drive to succeed? BrightRidge is seeking motivated individuals for a one-year renewable contract as Residential Broadband Sales Representatives.

As a Contract Sales Representative, you will be the face of our cutting-edge fiber optic Broadband services, engaging directly with residents in the Northeast Tennessee market to provide high-speed Internet solutions for their homes.

  • Per-Sale Commission: Earn a competitive rate for every new residential Broadband sale you close. Commissions are tiered to reflect the various product offerings.
  • Monthly Performance Accelerators: Boost your earnings with commission accelerators that kick in as you hit higher sales volume tiers each month.

The Role

As a Contract Sales Representative, you will focus on direct, door-to-door sales within designated residential areas to maximize service penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Sales: Identify and engage prospective customers through direct neighborhood sales, cold calls, and community events.
  • Consultative Selling: Evaluate customer technology needs and recommend the best broadband solutions, including Broadband Internet, managed WiFi, and VoIP based Telephone services.
  • Relationship Management: Build professional rapport with potential clients and maintain high standards for customer retention.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on regional market changes and report competitor activity to management.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, leads, and sales using mobile apps and provided tools.

Who Are we looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can represent BrightRidge with professionalism and integrity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of outside sales experience, preferably with Broadband internet sales.
  • Skills: Strong persuasion and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products clearly.
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an insurable driving record, and provide their own vehicle.
  • Contractor will sell residential broadband services exclusively for BrightRidge in its service area.
  • Provide proof of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) or S-Corporation.
  • Maintain a General liability insurance policy of $1 million per occurrence.
  • Valid automobile insurance with $500,000 liability per accident (proof required before starting).

Working Conditions

  • Active Environment: Primarily involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrains, requiring significant walking and door-to-door interaction.
  • Independence: Work independently within BrightRidge service territory.
  • Work Hours: Contractor sets his own schedule and may work as much or as little as Contractor determines. BrightRidge does not dictate work hours.

Contractor shall not sell broadband services in BrightRidge's service area on behalf of any other broadband service provider because such sales create a conflict of interest.

Contractor is permitted to sell products or services other than broadband services in BrightRidge's service area, and is permitted to sell any product or service outside of BrightRidge's service area.
