Job description

General Description: Responsible for maintaining, trouble-shooting and repairing all production and support equipment.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical machinery repair
  • Responsible for providing PLC hardware support for the entire facility
  • Machinery/equipment troubleshooting
  • Responsible for keeping diagrams, drawings, records, and other documentation organized and easily accessible
  • Preventive Maintenance (Oiling, greasing, cleaning)
  • Ladder/Platform work as required
  • Responding to Malfunction Reports
  • Documentation of work completed
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Follow ISO Procedures
  • Work weekends as required

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor

Prerequisite Qualifications:

  • Ability to recognize and understand hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical symbols and circuit diagrams (formal classes preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Legible handwriting
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple activities
