Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a paraprofessional to provide program support to preschoolers in early childhood classrooms. The position is 33.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at the Harambee Early Childhood Center. The paraprofessional would work closely with Early Childhood Special Education staff, along with Pre-K teachers.
Qualifications: Special Education paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment. (To take a Parapro Test, visit The ParaPro Assessment or call 1-800-772-9476; to take the ParaEducator Assessment, visit the Bright Works website - test is paid for at the employee's expense).
Compensation: Starting salary range is $17.95 - $20.25 per hour. Special Education paraprofessionals have the opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 per hour for completing online district Special Education training.
