We are currently seeking a Events Specialist Advisor to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The North America Executive Briefing Center (EBC) Events Specialist Advisor will be part of a team of briefing advisors who report to the Content and Creative Services Marketing Leader and is a strategic lead for executive customer engagements with key responsibility for managing the end-to-end briefing experience. This role partners closely with sales leadership, business and delivery executives, subject matter experts, and innovation center leadership (as applicable) to deliver impactful customer experiences that strengthen relationships and advance business objectives. The Events Specialist Advisor is accountable for the oversight of a wide range of initiatives including daily operations, technology, and equipment assessments to ensure the center is running efficiently and the primary lead for the briefing center management and engagement tools.

 

Responsibilities include:

Plan and activate executive customer briefings from initial request through post-briefing follow-up.

Consult with account teams to understand customer objectives and develop briefing strategies aligned with business goals.

Design executive-level agendas that align to customer priorities and NTT DATA portfolio strengths.

Acts as an advisor to sales/account teams from initial briefing request, creating agendas, sourcing discussion leaders, and leading prep sessions.

Lead planning meetings and cross-functional coordination among sales leaders, executives, SMEs, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure messaging consistency across presenters and sessions.

Drive accountability for deliverables and timelines across all briefing participants including any required presentation decks to ensure NTT DATA participants and speakers complete their presentation materials.

Schedule, participate and facilitate (if requested) in the presentation reviews and practice sessions, coach presenters on timing, flow, and audience engagement.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with the innovation center team, marketing team, leadership, and executive admins.

Build knowledge of the portfolio and stay up to date on innovative solutions to advise on potential opportunities and relevant topics.

Responsible for maintaining previously utilized portfolio/solution topics and subject matter expert library.

Partner with Hospitality Suite Specialist to coordinate customer entertainment activities, sporting events, and hospitality experiences.

Manage daily operations of the EBC to ensure readiness across planning, catering, facilities, and visitor experience.

Collaborate with the advisor team to help manage and oversee the briefing management systems and scheduling policies.

Oversee and maintain responsibility for EBC facility, including operating infrastructure, customer-focused coordination, and relationships with external and internal vendors and partners.

Manage, create, and revise processes and procedures in support of the briefing program’s overall objectives. (as needed)

Capture attendee data for marketing KPI and CRM reporting and document outcomes, action items, and customer feedback following each briefing and provide briefing insights and recommendations to leadership.

Manage special projects as assigned.

Budget awareness and management responsibility for assigned briefing events.

 

Skills/Criteria Required:

Expert knowledge of and experience in managing unique events and client engagements, including executive briefing center operations.

Technology industry experience.

10-12 years of relevant experience in a briefing center, events, or customer-facing marketing/support role; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; graduate degree preferred.

Strong organizational, project management, communication, and people skills.

An initiative-taker with ability to manage multiple projects and details while working independently and across the organization.

Ability to work across the organization at all levels, including the C-suite.

Effective written and verbal communications while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.

Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to and execute last-minute changes while maintaining calm and professional demeanor.

Diplomatic with professional appearance and manner; committed to excellence.

Experience with briefing systems and usage of CRM tools like Salesforce.

A team player with demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred skills and experience:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant marketing or customer-facing/support experience working with briefings or senior executive engagements.

Experience with CRM processes and briefing management systems.

Industry knowledge of technology services and solutions is strongly desired.

Experience with executive-level content development, presentation coaching, and agenda design.

Experience overseeing or working in a corporate briefing center.

Ability to engage with and advise multi-levels of the organization, including C-suite executives.

Experience leading or guiding others on cross-functional projects outside of own department.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $100,162 to $153,700 . Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
