Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) Technician to maintain and repair passenger boarding bridges used in airport operations. This role requires experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, and HVAC experience is a plus. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of boarding bridges to support smooth passenger flow.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on passenger boarding bridges.
โ€ข Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage components.
โ€ข Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to bridge movement and alignment.
โ€ข Maintain and service HVAC systems within boarding bridges (experience preferred).
โ€ข Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
โ€ข Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
โ€ข Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
โ€ข Collaborate with airport operations and other technical teams to ensure reliability
Qualifications
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems required.
โ€ข HVAC experience is a plus.
โ€ข Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.

โ€ข Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
โ€ข Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
โ€ข Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
โ€ข Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
โ€ข Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
โ€ข Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
