Job description

The Deschutes Brewery packaging team is currently recruiting for seasonal, part-time Packaging Support roles as we prepare for a busy summer season of beer orders! These positions will support a large packaging project for a national retail partner. This project will operate Monday - Friday, with two shifts available: 7am-12pm and 1pm-6pm. Please note that hours can be flexible and schedule modifications are available to meet your scheduling needs.
Individuals hired will rotate through the packaging stations in our warehouse as needed each day. Duties will include unloading bottles to be labeled, building display boxes, hand assembly of packaging, and loading finished goods onto pallets.
Starting pay is $20/hour.
This is a seasonal position, scheduled to begin on September 21st, 2026, and end on October 23rd, 2026. Orientation is scheduled for Thursday September 17th, 2026. The duration of seasonal positions may be shortened or extended based on business need.

Required Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and great teamwork skills
  • Must be at least 16+ years old
  • Reliable and flexible as days may vary depending on business needs
  • Must be able to work long hours standing, twisting, and lifting to 40 pounds
  • Work location is a warehouse environment with variable temperatures , presence of forklift traffic and other manufacturing production equipment
