Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a bread delivery route driver, your primary responsibility is to transport and deliver baked goods to designated locations. Your job description may include:

  1. Preparing the delivery truck: As the bread delivery route driver, you will be responsible for preparing the delivery truck before starting your route. This includes loading and unloading the truck, inspecting the vehicle, and ensuring that all the necessary supplies are available.
  2. Planning and executing delivery routes: You will need to plan and execute the delivery routes, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to the assigned schedule. You may also need to adjust the routes based on traffic and weather conditions.
  3. Delivering products: You will be responsible for delivering bread and other baked goods to customers at their specified locations. You will need to verify orders, collect payments, and maintain accurate records of deliveries made.
  4. Interacting with customers: You will be the face of the bakery to the customers. You will need to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns and answering any questions they may have about the bakery or its products.
  5. Maintaining the delivery vehicle: You will need to maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and orderly condition, ensuring that it is serviced and repaired as needed.

  • Obey all traffic regulations and maintain valid, current driver’s license
  • Check the condition of the vehicle daily
  • Operate vehicles in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
  • Assist with warehouse operations as required
  • Assist in all inventories as required
  • Delivers material at location designated by customer
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Must be willing to work 3nd Shift - 11pm start
  • No license suspensions, revocations, DUI, or drug violations or reckless operation violations
  • Inspects assigned truck for damage or problems at the beginning of the shift
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Medical Card Required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to get along with people
  • Dependability
  • Good communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Employees must have their own vehicle transportation to work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and stand for long periods of time




5 overnight shifts. Tuesday night off.
Please note: this is an overnight schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
