Theo’s Brother’s Bakery is Alpharetta’s best kept secret and Sedgwick Restaurant Group’s in-house source for the best artisan breads in town! This neighborhood bakery is just the place for hand-crafted treats, muffins, tarts, artisan goods, and naturally leavened breads. Theo's Brothers Bakery is hiring a passionate individual for an overnight bread baker. Under the mentorship of two other bakers, this role has the opportunity to learn and grow within the organization. This role is an overnight position.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Baker team in all levels of project execution including, but not limited to planning, production, clean-up, etc.
  • Properly time and prepare mixes for production to ensure continuous flow of operations (Raw materials to depositing to baking to baking to packing).
Qualifications:
  • Proficient communication skills
  • EXPERIENCE baking, shaping, mixing artisan and breads with natural leavening
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • Attention-to-detail and precision - An individual who is a keen observer.
  • Proficiency in math and analytics for recipe conversion and execution
  • The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally adept in using commercial bakery equipment, such as spiral mixers, convection, and deck ovens, proffers, retarders, and dough dividers.
  • Understanding of food safety practice
