Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM)

Bradford Construction has an opportunity for an experienced Construction Management professional with strong project management skills and a background in supervising field work. This position will report to a Program Manager and will support multiple ongoing projects with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate construction activities for complex and/or high-visibility projects.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
  • Manage project planning, problem-solving, and execution to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Uphold quality, compliance, and performance standards across all consultants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain continuous communication with contractors, construction managers, client personnel, and senior project staff.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of project policies in line with Authority-wide procedures.
  • Review contractor claims and disputes; compile necessary documentation and advise senior management on appropriate resolutions.
  • Support jobsite reporting requirements, including: daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports and updates to the two-week lookahead schedules, and monthly updates to the overall construction schedule.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost control records.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Construction management experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of work experience as a technical specialist in the construction industry.
  • At least four (4) of these years must have been involved in managing all phases of construction work on multiple projects.
  • Experience in new and modernization type construction.
  • Proven experience in interpreting contract documents (specifications, drawings, shop drawings).
  • Valid New York or New Jersey State driver's license.

Education: Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. #LI-Onsite #ZR

Salary
$125,000—$140,000 USD
