Brave Mental Behavioral Services is looking for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to enhance our remote practice. As a remote therapist, you will work from your home office, providing therapy primarily through telehealth platforms while occasionally collaborating with our outpatient office team in Tampa. You will also participate in regular team meetings and professional development webinars to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess mood disorder symptoms, focusing on frequency, intensity, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their overall well-being.
• Track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in alignment with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster collaboration and continuous learning within the department.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, aiming to reduce stigma and promote access to quality care in the community.

This position is particularly centered on individuals seeking support for relationship issues, including divorce and family dynamics. You will address challenges faced by couples and families, focusing on fostering healthy communication and emotional connection. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, providing an enriching opportunity for you to apply varied therapeutic approaches tailored to their specific circumstances.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients’ experiences and difficulties.
• Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities to balance clinical responsibilities effectively.

• Experience or certification in specific therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, or narrative therapy.
• Prior experience in teletherapy or providing remote services is a plus, given the nature of our practice.
• An outreach focus on divorce and family therapy will be highly regarded.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience.
