As a remote-based counselor, you will engage with clients through our telehealth platform, providing you the convenience of working from your chosen environment while still having the opportunity to connect meaningfully with clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and methods.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on thorough analyses of client histories, situations, and goals, ensuring each plan is tailored to meet specific needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services through various modalities including individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy, applying techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic frameworks.
• Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and external providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all assigned clients.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, facilitating appropriate follow-up and ongoing care.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness, conducting workshops, webinars, and educational initiatives that inspire interest and engagement.

In this role, you will work with a wide-ranging client base drawn from various backgrounds and experiences, including individuals with severe mental illnesses, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity will be vital in effectively addressing the unique challenges faced by each client, enhancing their journey toward recovery.

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building therapeutic rapport, allowing for impactful and meaningful client interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to maintain accurate and timely documentation, especially in a remote setting.
• Ability to navigate technology with ease, utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records efficiently.

• Experience in providing telehealth services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or advocacy related to mental health will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with the unique challenges of working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds is highly valued.

• Attractive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
