LPN LVN PAT

This position is responsible for triage via telephone, from the facility. Hours will be Monday-Friday, typical business hours.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an LPN to triage patients via telephone. This includes surgical room turn over between cases, patient admissions and discharge, collections and recording of pertinent clinical data, assisting with the transport of patients, all while under the direction of the Registered Nurse. You will be a valued team player.

What you will do:

  • Assist with admission, discharge and transfer of your patients
  • You will facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedure rooms
  • Utilize your Personal Protective Equipment and appropriately handle the disposal of biohazardous materials/ wastes
  • Prepare your procedure room for use the following day by setting up
  • Assist in preparing your operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment and instruments

Qualifications you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
  • 1 year experience in an operating room setting and/or SNF experience or vast knowledge of medications highly preferred
  • Must be licensed as a LPN in accordance with state regulations
