Job description

About Us

Alice is a creative consultancy that specializes in brand and digital transformation. We help organizations make meaningful leaps through design and technology, from next-generation automotive experiences to award-winning wellness apps. What sets us apart: we believe in radical collaboration with our clients, because the magic happens when we work as one unified team.

We're a small team of senior experts, and our straightforward, no-nonsense attitude is why we've earned the trust of an impressive portfolio of Fortune 500 companies and ambitious startups alike, including the #1 health & fitness app in the App Store and digital experiences recognized by The Webbys.

But this is just the beginning. With significant growth ahead, we're eager to bring on new team members who have both the skills and the mindset to join us at this exciting stage.

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior UX Strategist to support our strategy and design team across a broad mix of digital experience and brand projects.
This is an entry-level role for someone who is curious about the intersection of content, design, and strategy-and wants exposure to different kinds of UX, content strategy, and brand strategy work. You might come with a background or interest in content or business strategy, UX design, and/or design strategy-or another adjacent discipline altogether.
You don't need to be an expert in all of these areas. We're looking for someone with strong foundational thinking skills, curiosity, and the ability to take a clearly defined task and run with it independently.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct desk, market and competitive research and synthesize findings into clear, useful takeaways
  • Support content and UX audits, content inventories, messaging exercises and other UX strategy activities
  • Help develop information architectures, sitemaps and other ways of organizing digital experiences and content
  • Create UX wireframes to explore page structures, interactions and experience ideas
  • Support the development and visualization of experience and design strategy concepts
  • Translate strategic or content requirements into clear structural and visual outputs
  • Support workshop preparation, including research, exercises, materials and documentation
  • Iterate on work based on feedback from senior strategists, designers, and leadership
  • Take ownership of clearly scoped assignments, manage your own progress, and raise questions or blockers when needed
  • Contribute across different types of tasks depending on the needs of the project and team

      Ideally, you'll have:

      • 1+ year of relevant professional experience; internships, freelance work, academic projects and other hands-on experience are welcome
      • An interest in UX and in working across content, design, and strategy rather than specializing in only one area
      • Strong research and synthesis skills, with the ability to make sense of information and communicate the important points clearly
      • Strong written communication and attention to detail
      • An ability to think systematically about information, content, and digital experiences
      • Experience creating wireframes, layouts, or other structured visual artifacts
      • Comfort with learning new tools, methodologies, and subject matter
      • Ability to work independently once the task and expected output have been clearly defined
      • An organized and reliable demeanor, with an ability to follow through on assigned work
      • Curiosity, with eagerness and adaptability to learn across a broad range of disciplinesInterest in working in a small, collaborative team where everyone contributes-we punch above our weight by staying curious, always improving, and maximizing our impact

        We offer:

        • Benefits, including:
          • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
            • Medical: Company covers 100% of Gold plan premium
            • Dental: Company covers 50% of premium
            • Vision: Company covers 50% of premium
          • 401k
            • Company matches up to 4% of employee contributions
            • 1-year vesting schedule
          • FSA
            • Company matches up to $300 of employee contributions annually
          • Commuter benefits
            • Company contributes $100/month for parking and/or transit
          • Unlimited PTO
        • Hybrid work: Ability to commute to office in LA, otherwise remote
        • 12-month contract, with potential to extend

Note: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

          Employment Type: FULL_TIME
