Job description

About Fundamental

Fundamental is an AI company pioneering the future of enterprise decision-making. Founded by DeepMind alumni, Fundamental has developed NEXUS – the world's most powerful Large Tabular Model (LTM) – purpose-built for the structured records that actually drive enterprise decisions. Backed by world class investors and trusted by Fortune 100 companies, Fundamental unlocks trillions of dollars of value by giving businesses the Power to Predict.

At Fundamental, you'll work on unprecedented technical challenges in foundation model development and build technology that transforms how the world's largest companies make decisions. This is your opportunity to be part of a category-defining company from the ground-up. Join the team defining the future of enterprise AI.

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Media & Executive Brand Manager to help shape how Fundamental and its leadership team show up online.

This is not a traditional social media management role focused on chasing vanity metrics or running generic content calendars. We’re looking for someone who understands how to build attention, credibility, and relevance with highly specific audiences across platforms like LinkedIn and X.

You’ll help develop the voices, narratives, and digital presence of both Fundamental and its leadership team — creating content and campaigns that feel thoughtful, opinionated, culturally aware, and genuinely engaging within the worlds our customers operate in.

This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, enterprise technology, storytelling, and how modern brands and founders build influence online.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and grow the social presence of Fundamental and its executive leadership team across LinkedIn and X
  • Develop thoughtful, high-quality content that resonates with enterprise technology audiences, data science leaders, executives, and industry operators
  • Help shape the voice, positioning, and online presence of company leadership
  • Create content strategies aligned with major company moments including conferences, launches, customer stories, research, partnerships, campaigns, and industry trends
  • Work closely with leadership to develop authentic, opinion-driven content and perspectives on the future of AI, enterprise technology, and prediction
  • Identify opportunities for timely commentary, reactive content, and strategic participation in industry conversations
  • Collaborate with events, design, content, and marketing teams to turn company activities into engaging digital narratives
  • Help produce content around conferences, executive dinners, customer events, podcasts, launches, campaigns, and other brand moments throughout the year
  • Monitor engagement quality, audience relevance, and strategic impact — not just top-line impressions or follower growth
  • Stay highly plugged into conversations happening across AI, enterprise software, startups, technology, and adjacent industries
  • Experiment with new formats, creative approaches, and storytelling styles that differentiate Fundamental from traditional enterprise brands
Must have
  • 4+ years of experience in social media, brand, content, communications, editorial, or related marketing roles
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong editorial judgment
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn, X, and how influential individuals and modern technology brands build attention online
  • Strong instinct for what makes content feel authentic, interesting, and culturally relevant
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with fast, high-quality execution
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology, startups, AI, or developer/data ecosystems
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with founders, executives, and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into engaging and accessible content
  • Strong creative instincts and willingness to challenge traditional B2B marketing playbooks
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple voices, campaigns, and timelines simultaneously
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced startup environments
Nice to have
  • Experience managing executive or founder social media accounts
  • Background in journalism, editorial, creator-led media, or storytelling
  • Experience producing content tied to live events, conferences, podcasts, or launches
  • Familiarity with AI, enterprise infrastructure, developer tools, or data platforms
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, tech discourse, and emerging media formats
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation with salary and equity
  • Comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K
  • Fertility support, as well as paid parental leave for all new parents, inclusive of adoptive and surrogate journeys
  • Relocation support for employees moving to join the team in one of our office locations
  • A mission-driven, low-ego culture that values diversity of thought, ownership, and bias toward action
