A Taste of What You’ll Do​

As the Brand Development Manager for Spirits in GALLO's Innovation organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of innovative spirits brands. In this highly visible position, you will lead brand-building initiatives from concept through market testing, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life and drive strategic growth. You will use consumer insights, business analytics, and market intelligence to develop go-to-market plans, build compelling marketing strategies, and influence key business decisions.

You will collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Innovation, and Creative Services to launch new products, optimize test market performance, and create meaningful consumer experiences. Your ability to balance creativity with business acumen will help ensure successful execution and measurable results.

This role offers the opportunity to work on emerging brands, present recommendations to senior leadership, and make a direct impact on the future growth of the spirits portfolio. What You’ll Need​

  • Master’s degree plus 6 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Masters degree plus 4 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of communications, finance, marketing, military, operations, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Spirits experience.
  • Required to travel up to 50% of the time to designated business locations and to support inmarket
  • expectations in order to effectively perform essential job responsibilities.
  • 3 years of specific alcohol beverage industry marketing or sales experience.
  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
  • Skilled in building collaborative relationships and working on cross functional teams.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.   • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
