The Dallas Brand Development Manager is responsible for developing and growing Weber Ranch 1902 Vodka throughout the Greater DFW market. This role will focus on building strong distributor partnerships, increasing distribution, monthly volume goals, securing menu placements, driving activations, and developing relationships with key on-premise and off-premise accounts. 
 
Success in this role requires a highly visible market presence, frequent account engagement, and the ability to execute against aggressive growth objectives in one of the company's largest and most strategic markets. 
 
The BDM will report to the Region Vice President and will serve as an ambassador and brand advisor to consumers, wholesalers, and trade. The BDM will also represent the brand at regional and local industry and consumer events, and will serve as an important social media liaison for the brand in the local market, creating hyper-local content in real time, and providing that to the marketing team for syndication. 
 
Core Responsibilities and Activities 
  • Brand Representation. Be the face of our brand within the dedicated market and instill brand story and knowledge in multiple avenues each day. 
  • Industry Education. Promote our brand within the targeted consumer audience, including trade and wholesalers. 
  • Identify, Execute and Recap Local Events. Manage and attend monthly local events to drive and promote brand awareness.  
  • Social Media Presence. Utilize all social platforms to support brand and company initiatives. All social media activity must follow company polices.  
  • Secure New Opportunities.  Seek and secure new brand and consumer opportunities within the assigned market to increase awareness and consumer engagement. 
  • Maintain Brand Placements. Promote and extend all brand relationships within the dedicated market. 
  • Legal and Compliance Accountability.  Maintain all industry legal guidelines and maintain compliance with all company policies.  
  • In Field Activities and Travel. May be required to travel within an assigned territory of the dedicated market. This travel may be up to 50% of your time.  
  • Travel/Entertainment and Promotion Budget Management.  Complete timely expense reporting in compliance with company polices. 
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with distributor sales representatives, district managers, and leadership teams. 
  • Conduct regular work-withs and market visits with distributor personnel to drive account execution and brand awareness. 
  • Influence distributor priorities and secure support for key account initiatives and promotional programs.

  • Evening and weekend availability is considered an essential function of the role.

  • Timely completion of reporting, expense management, and follow-up activities. 
  • Being active on social media platforms to drive engagement with the target audience, including trade and consumers.

Required Qualifications 
  • Reside in the DFW market.  
  • 3+ years beverage alcohol industry experience.  
  • Supplier, distributor, or agency experience preferred.  
  • Proven success building distributor relationships.  
  • Experience managing both on-premise and off-premise accounts.  
  • Ability to work independently in a remote field-based environment.  
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.  
  • Strong presentation and account management skills. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong social media influence. 
  • Ability to manage an ad hoc schedule.  
  • A valid driver’s license and automobile or other form of transportation (travel within territory). 
  • Outgoing, competitive personality with superior presentation skills. 
  • Excellent budget management skills.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
Additional Information
The annual base compensation for this position is $80,000+ with a competitive annual performance bonus.  Subject to company bonus plan terms and conditions.   
 
This is an exempt position (not subject to overtime).  The position offers a highly competitive benefits package including premium medical, dental, vison, 401k, monthly auto allowance, and flexible paid time off.
