The Fleet Technician III serves as the technical go to in the shop, performing advanced multi trade
refurbishment and repairs on mobile storage equipment such as containers, ground level offices, and
mobile/modular offices while modeling safety, quality, and productivity and coaching other technicians.
This role may include such other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, based upon
company needs.
Perform advanced, multi trade diagnostics and complex refurbishment on
mobile storage equipment, completing work accurately, on time, and within
budget
Perform advanced, non-standard, and multi-trade troubleshooting
including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural problems, complex
leaks or damage
Demonstrate expertise in multiple skilled trades as required by
branch. May include HVAC, electric, plumbing, welding diagnostics
and repairs
Complete complex repairs: remove, repair and install floors, tiles,
roofs, walls, framing, doors, windows, screens, caulking, painting,
filters/dampers, replacing exterior siding, trim, swapping wheels, tires
and axels and other repetitive repairs
Diagnose and resolve non-standard problems requiring advanced
technical knowledge
Complete assignments on time and within budget as documented on
Work Orders
Document work completed and materials used on Work Orders
using required mobile applications

Remove and install decals and equipment numbers
Provide day to day technical leadership and mentoring to the service team,
guiding workflow, quality, and safety standards
Provide technical guidance and direction to service team
Coordinate workflow and task prioritization to maintain shop
efficiency
Set the pace and model quality and safety standards for service
team
Serve as liaison between service team and management
Coach and mentor other technicians on advanced technical skills,
quality standards, and safety protocols
Provide on-the-job training for complex procedures and problem solving
approaches
Help assign tasks and sequence work to optimize shop/yard
productivity
Handle complex service calls and advanced field diagnostics, including
customer communication and support of field operations
Perform complex service calls on an ad hoc basis including multitrade
troubleshooting
Handle advanced diagnostic and repair work in the field, especially
HVAC, plumbing, electrical and complex issues
Lead customer communication for complex technical issues, set
expectations, and manage basic conflict or dissatisfaction
Travel to customer sites for advanced repairs and emergency
situations
Complete necessary field documentation and reporting
Assist with setting mobile/modular offices and supporting CDL A
Drivers when needed
