Innovative Staff Solutions has a new direct hire opportunity for Vice President of Credit Union Operations with one of our clients in the Mattoon, IL area!

Overview:
The VP of Operations oversees branch operations, lending, member service, and daily workflow to ensure the credit union operates efficiently and delivers exceptional service. This role is hands on, lending focused, and works closely with the President/CEO to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead all lending functions:
o    Process, decision, and finalize loan applications, support staff with complex lending questions.
o    Monitor loan portfolio performance, delinquency, and risk; implement corrective strategies.
•    Oversee branch operations, cash handling, and internal controls.
•    Supervise and develop operational and lending staff; manage scheduling, training, and performance.
•    Ensure compliance with NCUA/IDFPR regulations and credit union policies.
•    Oversee ACH processing, loan payment setups, and payroll deduction posting.
•    Promote a strong member service culture and resolve escalated member issues.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
•    5+ years of progressive leadership experience in credit union and/or banking operations, including substantial management and supervisory experience.
•    Strong communication, problem solving, and decision making skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Expectations: Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
