Job Summary:

The Branch Director of is responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of all financial, operational, and clinical activities and programs for Advanced Home Health California. The Branch Director establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and directing operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
  2. Fiscal planning, budgeting and management.
  3. Ensuring organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation standards.
  4. Recruiting, employing and retaining qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  5. Ensuring program personnel have current clinical information and current practices.
  6. Ensuring ongoing oversight of the agency’s quality management system.
  7. Evaluating services and programs.
  8. Ensuring personnel development including orientation, in-service education and continuing education.
  9. Coordinating with other program areas and management as appropriate.
  10. Maintaining current on local trends and issues.
  11. Ensuring that appropriate service policies are developed and implemented.
  12. Directing personnel in performance of their duties including admission, discharge and provision of service to patients.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or master’s degree in health care or related field preferred.
  2. Registered nurse, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of California. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel.
  3. At least three to five years of experience in health care management preferably in health care management and at least one year of supervisory experience in home health care or health related programs.
  4. Knowledge of corporate business management.
  5. Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and standards. Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community.
  6. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
