Job description

We are seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our Fabrication Team in this customer-focused industry. A successful Brake Press Operator at WEBCO MFG is both Efficient and Precise, fabricating parts from sheet metal to meet customer specifications and expectations.

Job Duties:

ยท Produce parts which meet customer specifications, setting up the machine, deciding which brake dyes to use, reading, and interpreting blueprints and bending deducts.

ยท Ensure correct materials are used on each job by verifying materials prior to beginning production.

ยท Ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job.

ยท Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time, etc.

ยท Ensures safe and efficient brake operation by performing daily maintenance and minor repairs on machine, observing safety standards, and by notifying supervisor when major repairs and needed.

ยท Other responsibilities as required.

Skills/Requirements:

ยท Can work 3:30pm to 2am, M-F

ยท Has operated a Trumpf, Amada, or Cincinnati Brake Press

ยท 1 year minimum experience operating a brake or equivalent experience

ยท Strong attention to detail and efficiency
