Job description

We are seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our Fabrication Team in this customer-focused industry. A successful Brake Press Operator at WEBCO MFG is both Efficient and Precise, fabricating parts from sheet metal to meet customer specifications and expectations.

Job Duties:

· Produce parts which meet customer specifications, setting up the machine, deciding which brake dyes to use, reading, and interpreting blueprints and bending deducts.

· Ensure correct materials are used on each job by verifying materials prior to beginning production.

· Ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job.

· Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time, etc.

· Ensures safe and efficient brake operation by performing daily maintenance and minor repairs on machine, observing safety standards, and by notifying supervisor when major repairs and needed.

· Other responsibilities as required.

Skills/Requirements:

· Can work 3:30pm to 2am, M-F

· Has operated a Trumpf, Amada, or Cincinnati Brake Press

· 1 year minimum experience operating a brake or equivalent experience

· Strong attention to detail and efficiency
