Position Overview

Brainwave Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our compassionate team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while primarily serving clients through our outpatient office located in Rockford, Illinois. Work Environment

The work environment at Brainwave Therapy Clinic is designed to promote professional satisfaction and personal growth. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, tailoring strategies that ensure they receive appropriate support.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual client objectives and challenges.
  • Provide professional counseling services to individuals, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure holistic and comprehensive care, enhancing overall client outcomes.
  • Maintain secure and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in clinical supervision, case conferences, and continuous professional development to remain current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The position requires the ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds and demographics, providing culturally competent care. Qualifications
  • A valid LCPC license in accordance with state regulations.
  • A masterโ€™s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting both individual and group therapy within a mental health setting.
  • Strong grasp of evidence-based therapeutic methods relevant to mental health treatment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and client interaction.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with specific populations, including adolescents or veterans, is highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
