The main function of this position is to finish and package printed products. This requires the set-up and assembly of single and/or multiple components into a final product, either manually or by operating the following basic bindery/finishing equipment: 60-inch pressure sensitive/heat laminator, shrink-wrapper, 30-inch cutter, padding racks, rubberstamp assembly, three-hole drill, spiral punch & binder, tab laminator & cutter, stitcher, box maker, table-top folder, table-top laminator, high-speed punch, and industrial sewing machine. Plus the following technically advanced bindery/finishing/equipment: 40-bin collator, gift card affixer, and double-sided heat laminator.

  • Responsible for the accurate reading and comprehension of written job specifications. Job specifications provide the production details of each job/finished product.
  • Responsible for the set-up and manual assembly of single and/or multiple components into a final kitted product. 
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient set-up and complete operation of all equipment listed above. 
  • Responsible for the correct packaging, correct labeling, and safe palletizing of final products. 
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient basic operator maintenance and cleanliness of all the equipment (and their respective work areas).
