Job description

What does a Sr. Field Service Technician at Swire Coca-Cola do?
Visit customers in assigned geography to diagnose and repair moderate to highly complex Coca-Cola beverage equipment provided to customers for resale of Coca-Cola products. Equipment includes fountain beverage dispensers, coolers, vendors, payment systems and ancillary equipment. Visits (service orders) are generally scheduled through assigned dispatcher but can be technician generated proactively. Responsible for the transportation, installation, removal, and repair (as needed) of fountain beverage dispensers, vendor and cooler equipment as assigned. Works under limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose multiple types of complex fountain machine equipment ( e.g. B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine) and other beverage equipment to determine work, parts, and materials needed and make required repairs. Move or remove equipment as required.
  • Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area.
  • Effective and appropriate interaction with customers, management, and associates.
  • Upon completion of service call, clean and sanitize equipment, clean work area.
  • By use of handheld device; document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity.
  • Correctly check in and out equipment and materials (parts and supplies).
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory ($30-$35K est. value). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.
  • Attend meetings as assigned
  • Assist with special projects and events as assigned
  • Assist other associates as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • CFC Refrigeration Certification upon hire preferred
  • 2-4 years experience in diagnosis & repair of consumer or commercial appliances required
  • 1-2 years beverage service technician (EFC, fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
