Job description

We are looking for dependable and self-motivated Bookkeepers to assist in managing the day-to-day operations in their growing team. ย If you love numbers, organizing, accuracy and want to share your financial acumen with the company then read on! By submitting your application, you will be added to our talent pool for consideration as roles become available.

Responsibilities:
  • Full cycle bookkeeping
  • Create financial statement including cash flow, and P & L statements
  • Manage and develop junior bookkeepers
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecast and variance analysis
  • Prepare bi-weekly/monthly payroll
  • File monthly/quarterly GST returns and other government submissions (PST, WCB, etc.)
  • Develop accounting systems and processes
Requirements:
  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience working in full cycle bookkeepingย 
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field, preference will be given to those willing to obtain their CPA designation
  • Experience within public practice would be a strong asset
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office Suite, and Google Drive; previous experience working with cloud-based accounting would be beneficial
  • Must have a solid understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must be flexible, and able to work under pressure
