TheOpportunity

HGAIFS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join ourteam as a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding ofbookkeeping principles and practices, exceptional organizational skills, andthe ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. As a Bookkeeper, you willbe responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our clients andensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Key Duties& Responsibilities

        Record day-to-day financial transactions inQuickBooks or other accounting software

        Enter, manage, and reconcile accountspayable and accounts receivable

        Prepare and process payroll records forclients

        Reconcile bank statements and credit cardstatements

        Generate financial reports, includingprofit and loss statements and balance sheets

        Assist in the preparation of tax returnsand financial statements

        Communicate effectively with clients andother team members to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks

        Stay up-to-date on bookkeeping bestpractices and accounting regulations

Qualifications

        Post-secondary diploma or certificate in arelevant field (i.e. Bookkeeping, Business Administration, Accounting, orFinance)

        Minimum of 2 years of experience in fullcycle bookkeeping

        Strong understanding of bookkeepingprinciples and practices

        Proficiency in QuickBooks or otheraccounting software

        Excellent written and verbal communicationskills
