Position Summary

Larkin Express is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering accounting and operational data, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of our logistics operation. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter financial and operational data into accounting and transportation management systems.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare invoices and assist with customer billing.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment records for accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members regarding billing or payment inquiries.
  • Support office administration and special accounting projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Trucking, transportation, or logistics industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent data entry accuracy and time management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
