Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the revenue management and reservations division to drive revenue growth through the appropriate balance of volume and pricing strategies to meet or exceed Evermore's financial revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and demand patterns to make informed pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Create and adjust pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, special events, and other relevant factors.
  • Forecast revenue and occupancy trends to inform operational and marketing decisions.
  • Monitor and manage room inventory to ensure optimal distribution and availability across various distribution channels.
  • Manage the distribution of resort inventory across online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), direct booking channels, and other distribution platforms.
  • Manage relationships with OTA partners, negotiate commission rates, and optimize channel mix to minimize distribution costs.
  • Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to enhance visibility and conversion.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights to senior management and guide decision-making processes.
  • Utilize revenue management software and tools to track and analyze key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate Team Members on revenue management concepts and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on group bookings, promotional activities, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Recommend direction on group bookings, promotional activities, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze competitive set pricing, promotions, and market positioning to maintain the resort's competitive edge.
  • Analyze historical and current data to identify revenue trends, booking patterns, and opportunities for growth.
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and develop strategies to capture a larger share of the market.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on competitors in the vacation rental and resort space for benchmarking and new ideas; monitor local events for impact on occupancy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in revenue management, pricing, or distribution within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in revenue management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and distribution channels.
  • 5+ years of revenue management experience in high volume resort, preferably with vacation rental homes and amenities.
  • Able to read and understand financials and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English

Physical Requirements
  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time (sit/standing)
