FunZone Manager
Position Objective: At Pizza Ranch, all our team members are vital to the successful operation of our restaurants. This role is primarily responsible for managing the FunZone Arcade and the FunZone team members. This person will manage all aspects of staffing and create and sustain a legendary experience for all FunZone guests.
Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
  • Hiring, training, developing, and retaining FunZone team members
  • Leading the process and team execution of merchandising, inventory management, party bookings
  • Managing the daily operations, game uptime, and overall appearance of the FunZone Arcade
  • Promoting the FunZone experience via social media channels and local store marketing

Key Accountabilities:
Include but are not limited to:
  • Manage all aspects of staffing, scheduling, and training of FunZone Attendants
  • Detail, market, and organize all aspects of group events and parties including managing reservations, contacting guests, and scheduling FunZone Attendants accordingly
  • Ensure events and party details are executed accurately and on time
  • Merchandising and inventory control of Redemption Center
  • Order and manage party supplies and redemption inventory
  • Develop and implement post-event and post-party follow up and referral process
  • Ensure courteous customer service and respond to guest questions, complaints, and/or requests
  • Elevated level of knowledge of FunZone systems and games
  • Ensure completion of FunZone game and counter cleaning protocols
  • Minimize game downtime by ensuring completion of necessary maintenance and service
  • Ensure maintenance of the overall appearance of the FunZone
  • Increase FunZone visibility and awareness including a consistent presence on social media outlets
  • Develop thorough understanding of the reporting system to ensure FunZone profitability
  • 45-50 hours per week

Qualifications, Skills, and/or Competencies:
  • Strong management and relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with restaurant managers and staff
  • Able to work with computers and POS system
  • Highly self-motivated. Must have a high sense of urgency in providing an excellent level of service and follow through
  • Strong detail orientation with a demonstrated proficiency in both planning and execution
  • Ability to oversee multiple detailed projects and manage change effectively
  • Understanding of general marketing principles including targeting, advertising, pricing, sales process, and contract negotiation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead others
  • Results oriented; ability to prioritize rapidly with strong critical thinking skills and excellent decision-making/analytical skills
  • Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends, as needed
  • Management experience in retail or hospitality preferred
