Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Prospect, solicit, and secure new group business that aligns with the resort's sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, third-party partners, and travel professionals.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through proposal development, contract negotiation, and turnover to the Events team.
  • Conduct sales presentations, site visits, familiarization tours, and client meetings.
  • Represent Lake Austin Spa Resort at industry trade shows, networking events, and sales missions.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed established revenue goals.

Revenue Management & Sales Strategy

  • Prepare proposals and contracts that balance client needs with revenue objectives in partnership with the Director of Revenue.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account information, and pipeline activity within CRM systems.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with resort leadership and the Marketing team on sales initiatives and promotional efforts.

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key accounts and referral partners.
  • Represent the Lake Austin Spa Resort brand with professionalism and a thorough understanding of the resort's luxury wellness experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

Required

  • Two to five years of progressive hospitality sales experience, preferably in luxury resort, destination resort, or group sales.
  • Demonstrated success achieving group sales revenue goals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and account management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and hospitality sales software.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and sales calls.

Preferred

  • Experience selling luxury wellness resorts, destination retreats, or upscale hospitality experiences.
  • Existing relationships within the corporate meetings, incentive travel, or wellness travel markets.
  • Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, Opera, Book4Time, or comparable hospitality systems.
