Job description

Job Summary: Logistics Plus is looking for a dynamic, well-connected Warehouse Sales Manager to build on our current warehouse operations. This employee will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and closing sales to achieve growth goals. The successful candidate will have an existing strong book of business and perform a key role by increasing revenue and directing sales to drive the business forward. This role is posted for New Jersey, but we are open to candidates in other markets where we have warehousing operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Generate immediate revenue opportunities by transitioning your existing book of business to Logistics Plus.
  • Research & evaluate prospects via telephone and email to generate leads and create sales opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Logistics Plus' capabilities to assist in identifying client needs and building solutions for the customer.
  • Close sales & generate income for the company.
  • Maintain and expand sales activity data in the ERP system.
  • Convey summarized key findings from your conversations as a part of the management team.
  • Attend industry trade shows to identify and generate new leads.
  • Provide input with the development of strategic sales plans.
  • Perform special projects as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven track record of successful sales, preferably with the ability to bring a book of business.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Complete understanding of the 3PL industry, including pricing, business development, and fulfillment processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills- both written and verbal- and the ability to build a genuine rapport with prospects.
  • Ability to present ideas and processes to grow the company and manage multiple priorities, projects, and customers.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful in finding new sectors and industries to target for potential business.

Education and Experience:
  • B2B Sales Experience is required.
  • 3PL Experience is required.
  • High school diploma.
