Job description

We are seeking a Sales Associate Book Seller to join our team at our bookstore! We are a book company specializing in romance novels. The ideal candidate would be familiar with popular titles & authors in the romance book community. We are seeking candidates with weekend availability. This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 15 - 20 per week! MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY


Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Using a POS system to complete customer transactions.
  • Creating the customer experience. Assisting with book recommendations.
  • Restocking Merchandise
  • Shelving Books
  • Assisting in-store book signings and small events.

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for extroverted personalities who are comfortable approaching customers.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Knowledge of niche book trends and products
  • Familiarity with the Book World
