Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Refurbishment Manager for our Grapevine, TX location to oversee the daily operations of the refurbishment operation, ensuring that quality standards and production goals are met. The Refurbishment Manager will oversee daily operations at the Center of Excellence (COE) in TX for refurbishment, ensuring production goals and quality standards are consistently met. This role is responsible for leading a production team, driving continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining efficient workflows in line with Lean manufacturing principles. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company standards while working to enhance overall productivity.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of refurbishment technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the refurbishment production team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing practices, including 5S, to optimize workspace organization and productivity
  • Organize and conduct training sessions on new processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Ensure that all products are refurbished to meet or exceed quality standards, conducting inspections and audits as necessary
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a production supervisory role or similar, preferably in a refurbishment or manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and continuous improvement techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Familiarity with HVAC/R concepts and working principals preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to think on one's feet and learn rapidly without a great deal of supervision
  • Must be disciplined, self-motivated, and able to meet team goals
