Position Overview:
Responsible for business services sales including voice, video and data to small and medium-sized businesses, bulk-priced residential services to multi-dwelling units, condos, institutions, and the hospitality industry, and fiber/advanced services to enterprise customers. This role is responsible for working with the senior management in overall revenue acquisition by regional sales teams.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Achieve commercial sales goals by working with Mediacom Business leadership, Regional leadership as well as Account Executives (AE).
  • May sell in sales territory not assigned to an AE (per Performance Standards).
  • Monitor sales activity through Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Sales Management software and CSG statistical analysis and field visits to proactively make recommendations to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitate the development of effective training programs to meet objectives.
  • Maintain and publish the appropriate reporting to manage the business, meet objectives and maximize efficiency
  • Coordinate with regional sales managers to interview, hire and train, and coach Regional Account Executives and Supervisors as needed to attain budgeted sales activity.
  • Provide follow-up for any audit discrepancies found by internal or external auditors and makes sure that correct policies and procedures are being followed throughout the sales process.
  • Work with Senior Sales Manager to interview, hire, train and coach assigned Account Executives as needed to attain budgeted sales activity. to assist in development as needed.

  • Requires regular attendance to report to work per assigned work schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing, Communications or related field required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Telecommunications, business-to-business sales, or sales management.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to travel throughout the markets up to 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
