We're looking for a Senior Project Manager who thrives in the field, understands how work truly gets built, and wants to lead both projects and people. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee complex self-perform construction work while serving as a trusted partner to clients and a mentor to project teams.
In this role, you will lead large, multifaceted projects from concept through completion-ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance are achieved. You won't just manage from a distance; you'll be actively engaged on job sites, supporting teams, solving problems in real time, and helping shape how work gets delivered. What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field required. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Ten or more years' experience in construction project management and related functions.
  • Experience managing construction projects (typically $10M+), or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong background in self-perform construction, with hands-on understanding of how work is put in place
  • Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, or similar core building systems
  • Confidence managing financials, including change orders, budgets, and contract considerations
  • Proven ability to lead teams across multiple sites or scopes
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders
  • A field-first mindset-you prefer being where the work is happening
  • Ability to mentor and develop others, especially early-career project team members

Nice to Have
  • Experience working directly with craft labor and self-perform crews
  • Background in estimating or preconstruction
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing commercial risk
  • Experience supporting campus-style or multi-phase projects
  • Familiarity with industrial or mission-critical environments
