Join The Boldt Company and help bring exciting commercial, industrial, healthcare, and manufacturing projects to life. We're looking for an Estimator with experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, bid management, and subcontractor procurement to support projects from concept through construction.

In this role, you'll work with project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to develop accurate budgets and competitive proposals. If you enjoy analyzing costs, solving problems, and contributing to successful projects while growing your career with an employee-owned company, we'd love to hear from you.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $100,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or other related degree required.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Two to five years of estimating experience required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the preparation of a complete estimate and all aspects required to complete and estimate and supporting documents.
  • Exposure to conceptual estimating.
  • Exposure to Site and Building Systems, Assemblies, and components of each.
  • Exposure to self-performed estimating which relies on productivity, labor, crew, equipment, and material required for such.
  • Exposure to Negotiated Guarantee Maximum Price (GMP) as well as Lump Sum (Hard) Bid types of projects.
  • Understanding and proficiency of construction coding in MasterFormat and Uniformat.
  • A strong understanding of excel spreadsheets, database-based software (WinEst), take-off software (On-Center - On Screen Takeoff) scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Primivera) preferred.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools, such as REVIT and/or Vico, is preferred
