Job description

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician‑led and accountable 650+ provider multi‑specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a full‑time or part‑time Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join an established group of clinicians. The schedule for full‑time would be 34 patient contact hours, with an option for a 4‑ or 5‑day work week. Practice call is shared with other eligible providers (Appx 1:30).

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group serves community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment in the Boise area. With comprehensive health‑care services offered for the whole family, most of our Boise locations offer a multitude of services in one convenient location including urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, occupational medicine, diabetes care & education, sleep medicine, orthopedics, heart care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and onsite lab, X‑ray and pharmacy.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program
  • Ability to obtain an Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (controlled substances), and privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
  • Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
