MH-139 Logistics Representative

Boeing Global Services is searching for a MH-139 Logistics Representative to join the team in Maxwell AFB, AL

The MH-139 is a multi-mission utility helicopter produced in the United States. The aircraft incorporates state-of-the-art technology that allows operators to complete any mission safely, quickly and efficiently. The MH-139's multi-mission capability enables the execution of a variety of missions, including patrol, firefighting, search and rescue, VIP, troop and cargo transport.

The Logistics Services Representative (LSR) for the MH-139 Grey Wolf Program will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of the fleet through effective logistics support. Position is available at Maxwell AFB; AL. Candidates may be required to work any of the following shifts to support 16/7 aircraft maintenance:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 AM

  • Some weekend shifts are required

  • Shift times subject to change

Position Responsibilities:

  • You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.
  • Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
  • Assists in coordinating and scheduling on time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures.
  • Assists with researching, identifying and resolving customer supply support system inventory discrepancies.
  • Assists with reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
  • Collaborate with company organizations to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Suggests potential solutions to resolve problems of limited scope affecting the supply chain.
  • Releases orders to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products.
  • Monitors logistics system performance. Prepare required company reports.
  • Make use of and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Referring to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Products are reviewed for sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
  • Interacts primarily with internal personnel and external customers.
  • Represents the organization on specific projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in Logistics Services.

  • Experience and understanding of Quality Management Systems

  • Willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and / or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and / or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime)

  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Coordinates with required organizations to resolve problems affecting the supply chain.

  • StrongPC skills and experienceutilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and Word are desired.

  • Experience with quality management systems preferred.

  • Proactive self-starter who possesses a positive work attitude and has strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, people and communication skills.

  • Ability to perform as a team member and bring a safety culture that assures mission success and employee safety.

  • GOLDesp database experience is desired.
