• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess physical conditions and limitations of patients in their home settings.
• Develop customized treatment plans that may include exercises, manual therapy, and assistive technology, aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families on appropriate therapeutic exercise techniques, and ensure proper usage of mobility equipment, such as walkers and wheelchairs.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records to track progress and facilitate effective communication with healthcare teams.
• Provide therapeutic interventions which may include massage, manual manipulation, and exercise instruction to foster healing and enhance mobility.
• Advise on in-home modifications and techniques to aid in daily living activities and enhance overall patient independence.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and basic word processing software for documentation and reporting.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle varying patient needs in different environments.

While we require a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, Happy Body Therapy welcomes new graduates who display a strong commitment to learning and professional development.
