This position requires onsite work within patients’ homes, providing a unique and gratifying setting for both therapists and clients. As a part of our team, you will enjoy the flexibility to choose your own hours, typically operating from Monday to Friday, which promotes a balanced work-life integration.

Your daily activities will include:

• Consulting with patients to meticulously assess their physical condition and specific symptoms to tailor treatment approaches.
• Diagnosing issues related to movement dysfunction and creating individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient goals.
• Instructing patients on effective therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand the importance of each movement for their recovery.
• Administering physical therapy techniques including stimulation, massage, and other modalities to enhance healing and mobility.
• Guiding patients in the safe use of rehabilitative equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers to facilitate their independence.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining comprehensive records to track their recovery journey and inform future treatment plans.
• Providing relevant advice to patients and their families about in-home exercises and ongoing treatment options to support their health outside of therapy sessions.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, demonstrating foundational and advanced knowledge of physical rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy, confirming your qualification to provide care.
• A flexible approach to work, allowing you to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.

While a minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required, candidates who have engaged in home health services or pediatric therapy will be prioritized, as this experience fosters an understanding of the unique dynamics involved in home care settings.
