Grand Island Motor Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Manager to lead our collision center operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily workflow, driving profitability, maintaining high-quality repairs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
We're looking for a hands-on leader who can manage people, processes, and performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of collision center operations, including scheduling, production flow, and quality control
  • Manage and develop body shop technicians and staff
  • Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
  • Monitor cycle times, productivity, and efficiency
  • Work directly with insurance companies and customers throughout the repair process
  • Review and approve estimates, supplements, and final invoices
  • Maintain profitability through proper labor management and cost control
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Body Shop Manager, Production Manager, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and estimating systems (CCC, Mitchell, or similar)
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license
