Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Emergency Department & Urgent Care

Fort Memorial Hospital - Emergency Department
McFarland Urgent Care
Oregon Urgent Care
Cottage Grove Urgent Care

We are looking to place Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants in full-time/part-time opportunities in an established health system emergency medicine and urgent care group. The group has multiple locations, including Beloit, Fort Atkinson, Stoughton, McFarland, Oregon, and Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality care to our patients. Experience is preferred, but we will train a motivated new graduate.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants to:
  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting at all levels of acuity
  • Performs all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations
  • Perform independently/as part of a treatment tea
  • Interpret medical test results (incl. EKG, x-rays, & lab tests)
  • Perform a wide range of bedside clinical procedures (incl. but not limited to); digital blocks, dental blocks, nail trephination, nail removal, suturing, stapling, wound care using Dermabond, foreign body removal, splinting fractures, fluorescein eye exams, eye irritation, eye pH testing, eye foreign body removal, incision and drainage, vaginal speculum examination, STD testing and counseling, digital vaginal and/or rectal examination, tick removal, etc.

Requirements:
  • Either Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Degree- MSN, DNP, or post-master certificate with a nurse practitioner specialization
  • Wisconsin Medical License (active)- RN & APN/Physician Assistant in Medicine
  • Active DEA license/ ability to apply before or upon hire
  • Certifications- BLS & advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS & PALS)
