Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service excellence are highly valued. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, alignments, brakes, shocks & struts, and tire services.
  • Repair or replace components such as ADAS systems, air brakes, and auto body parts as needed.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid replacements, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal operation.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform specialized repairs on diesel engines and GM vehicles with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct welding and other fabrication tasks when necessary for auto body repair or structural modifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle and communicate findings clearly to customers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Skills

  • Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
  • Proficiency in reading automotive schematics and electrical systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, steering, and alignment.
