Providence Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our full-time Primary Care team at our Hialeah, Florida location. The Physician Assistant will work onsite at our hospital-based clinic, where a team-oriented culture thrives. • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ medical histories.
• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood tests and imaging studies.
• Diagnose health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans for both acute and chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe and manage medications while educating patients on their health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure timely updates of patient schedules.
• Participate in health promotion programs to educate patients and their families about disease prevention and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care to patients.
• Engage in research initiatives and professional development to continuously enhance clinical knowledge.

Your primary focus will be serving the diverse patient population of Hialeah, with a wide range of health needs from preventive care to chronic disease management. The clinic sees a variety of patients, including but not limited to those seeking treatment for internal medicine, cardiology, family health, and urgent care issues. Your role is crucial in guiding patients toward optimal health by providing tailored care plans and ongoing support.

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a relevant field.
• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C).
• Valid DEA number for prescribing controlled substances.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical, hospital, or urgent care environment.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient care.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing education and professional growth.

• Experience in primary care, acute care, or chronic disease management.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems to document patient interactions efficiently.
• Bilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus but are not mandatory.
