We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Joint in Motion Physical Therapy Center located in Princeton, New Jersey. This full-time position involves working onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to determine individual treatment needs and establish measurable goals.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and physician recommendations.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques to address a wide array of conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management.
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and share knowledge that contributes to organizational practice improvements.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients by offering support, motivation, and encouragement throughout their treatment journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population at Joint in Motion includes individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, such as fractures, joint replacements, and sports-related injuries. Our therapists also engage with pediatric, neurologic, and geriatric patients, catering to varied rehabilitation needs. The focus on personalized care creates authentic connections, allowing us to tailor treatments and maximize patient engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least two years of practical experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly to patients and their families.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
  • A commitment to building rapport with patients, ensuring their emotional and psychological comfort during treatment.
  • A desire to foster community relationships, supporting outreach and educational initiatives.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in treating a variety of patient demographics and a range of diagnosis types.
  • Demonstrated ability in utilizing advanced techniques, such as functional assessments and outcome measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with community resources to assist in patient recovery beyond the clinical environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We value the contributions of our physical therapists and offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
