In addition to Bobcat we feature the Toro, Stihl, Bandit, Avant, Fecon, Wacker Neuson, Kage and Big Tow lines of equipment. We serve a wide range of markets including construction, landscaping, grounds and property maintenance, agriculture, tree care, land clearing and erosion control.
Our knowledgeable, experienced and friendly staff is committed to providing the best customer service and product support in the industry. We sell, service, rent and have parts for nine lines of equipment for both the residential and commercial customer.
Job Description
The Sales Specialist is responsible for providing customers with product expertise for multiple lines of equipment and developing long term relationships to maximize sales opportunities. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon excellent customer service and selling skills and having an extensive knowledge of equipment uses and capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide customers either in-person, on the phone or via email with pricing and equipment options to meet their specific needs
  • Skilled in utilizing the on-line equipment quoting and invoicing modules
  • Effectively understand and utilize manufacturers' promotional programs
  • Instruct customers on safe and proper operation of equipment
  • Arrange equipment delivery and if applicable assist customers with loading and unloading of equipment
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships through immediate conflict resolution
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Maintain regular contact with customers as to new products and updates which would be of interest to them
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in all vendor training programs and keep current on new equipment updates
  • Maintain showroom appearance by keeping brochure displays fully stocked, floors swept and equipment displays dusted
  • Participate in the preparation, set-up and tear down of trade shows
  • Be knowledgeable in competitive products as well as industry trends

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in business to business sales
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience operating Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment is preferred
  • Superior customer service and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Skilled in use of MS Office applications
  • Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Able to work non-traditional hours as needed (evenings and weekends)
