The Heavy Equipment Operator's primary responsibility is operating heavy equipment such as cranes, clamshells. lowboys, motor graders, heavy loaders. water truck. bulldozers, rollers. scrapers and tractors. Equipment is used to excavate, load or move dirt, gravel or other materials. Operator may read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans. Must be able to grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment.
