Accounts Receivable Clerk

BMW & MINI of the Main Line – Bala Cynwyd, PA
Full-Time| On-Site

BMW & MINI of the Main Line are premier automotive dealerships proudly serving Pennsylvania’s Main Line. We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting office with receivables and other accounting support.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated accounting clerk to enter a fast-paced, professional environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • End of Month Statements: send invoices to clients according to company policies, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Deposit Reconciliation Processing: Record and post customer payments, including cash, checks, credit cards and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Collections and Follow-Up: Monitor overdue accounts, contact vendors regarding outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records, update customer accounts, and prepare reports on accounts receivable aging, payment status, and collection progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with parts, service, and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing, resolve disputes, and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and relevant regulations; assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
  • Numerical & Analytical Skills, perform accurate calculations & identify discrepancies
  • Technical Proficiency, able to use & create spreadsheets, organize financial data
  • Problem solving & Time Management, ability to prioritize takes & resolve payment issues efficiently
  • Automotive accounting experience is preferred, but will train the right candidate
