Who we are:
Sylvain Counseling Services (SCS) is an established group practice that is seeking independently licensed clinicians to provide counseling services for a diverse client population on a contract basis.
Qualified candidate must have:
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs)
    • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor 1 (LADC 1)
  • Valid state license and ability to practice independently in the state of Massachusetts
  • Possess professional liability insurance
  • CANS certified or willing to be certify
  • Availability to see a minimum of 10 clients per week

Preferences:
  • Able to create a flexible schedule
  • Individually contracted with one or more insurance panels (United Healthcare, BCBS, MBHCP, BMC Healthnet, Beacon, Common Health Care Alliance etc...) or willing to be enrolled

Job responsibilities/Skills required:
  • Provide initial diagnostic assessments and ongoing therapy for individual, couples, and family
  • Organized, attention to detail, strong diagnostic and clinical skills
  • Maintain appropriate and timely clinical documentation
  • Maintain ongoing communication with collaterals
